Notice to patients re: access to Northbrook branch (Warwick Road, Dorking RH5 4NP) site following oil spillage on A24/M25

Notice to patients re: access to Northbrook branch (Warwick Road, Dorking RH5 4NP) site following oil spillage on A24/M25

Following a spillage from a lorry on Tuesday 9 July, oil has leaked onto roads from Beare Green to Leatherhead and on to the M25 at junction 9. This has meant a road closure between Beare Green and Dorking.

Our Northbrook branch site in Warwick Road, Dorking, sits within the affected area. However, the branch surgery remains open and routine services continue to operate with no disruption to appointments.

We understand the roundabouts and crossings on the A24 are open to allow people to cross over the A24. These areas will have to be closed off for resurfacing, but this will be done in sections, so they are not all closed at the same time. Therefore, we would recommend anyone visiting the Practice allows extra time for travel.
